About Keenan

A Life Rebuilt From The Ground Up

At just fifteen years old, Keenan Hudson stood before a judge and was certified as an adult. What followed was nearly 15 years behind bars — years he used to change his life through education, faith, and a strong belief that his future could be different.

Since coming home in 2016, Keenan has built several businesses, bought property, written nine books, and started a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He serves as Re-entry Commissioner under Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and leads restorative justice work at Penn State University. He is also a Justice Reform Research Consultant with Bucknell University and an Advisory Board Member for the ALLIED Hub at Drexel University's School of Education.

Every single week — without fail — Keenan walks into Pennsylvania state prisons and Philadelphia youth facilities to hand out books, run workshops, and coach people one-on-one. He is on the ground, building trust, and changing lives from the inside out.
